You guys are all autonerds, so I'm sure you could help answer some of my questions with Fourza.

Kinja'd!!!

I decided to take my oodles of money in my bank and buy a corvette, because the cars they were giving me for free were just not standing up against the others in S class that it kept putting me in. I took said corvette and upgraded it so it's pretty damn racecar, and low and behold it said it was too much and was going to charge me $16k to downgrade my car. WTF? Is there a way to save different setups?

Also, do you guys keep every car you're gifted, or sell some? I rarely use half my cars, but I figured I'd keep them to use every once in a while. Is there a point to doing that? More worth it to sell them?

Anywho, once I start getting more cars and setting them up I'd love to hit the track with the oppo crew instead of randoms and bots.

Not sure on the multiple setups thing. It really ceases to be an issue after a while because the parts become free and you just throw on whatever works for the event you need to enter. I'm not a good person to answer this because I usually just build a new car instead of tweaking a current one! I know you can buy tuning setups created by others, so I'm sure there's a way to save multiple tunes for the same car.

I sold a lot of the prize cars. It gets to be too much crap in your garage after a while. I kept some of them for a long time but when you get to like 150 cars it becomes pretty necessary to clean house.

I don't think too many Oppodudes play Fourza anymore, sadly. I have an expensive wheel that isn't supported by the XBone and I'm not upgrading until there's an acceptable solution for that.

Anyway, have fun!

You can save different setups for a ca buy buying your parts. Then go to tuning tab then adjust and press start to save tune.

I usually just build multiple cars with different sets on them. I do keep most of my gift cars because you only get 100 credits if you just sell them. If you want to get rid of them stick them in he auction house.

I would be down to race sometime gamer tag is CAMAROBOY68SS

Thanks, I'll give it a go. When I get a bit better I'll definitely give you a heads up to race, I'm currently pretty terrible and need better map memorization.

Do you know if there is a way to turn off the mini map at the bottom of the screen? I find it distracting and that it hurts my attention to simply memorizing the course.

Try going through the options and into display options. Should be able to turn of off there. I still have mine on in case it's a track I rarely run. If you want good practice online try the multi class rooms. They're fan be fairly empty with a few people and AI. You learn passing breaking and how to get around slower cars and letting faster cars go. It's a lot of fun with all kinds of different cars to run. There is also a Lemans multi class that's fun too but hard to find good rooms.

I don't think they charge to downgrade. You probably clicked the 'optimize for this class' button so it was trying to buy smaller/different upgrades to match to the S level, rather than just removing a few select parts you already installed.

Ah, is there an automatic button to downgrade? Thanks for clarifying that, definitely helps lol.

Not that I know of. Just go to your upgrade where you select parts, and select the stock parts on the ones that you upgraded.
